This treasure trove of wonderment offers everything from episodes of our original web-series, “THE LOW ROAD” to our weekly sketch comedy audio podcasts “EAVESDROP”, video skits, humiliating narratives, and more. We want to provide you, our visitors, with entertainment and give you the opportunity to be a sounding board as we continue our dogged pursuit of a dream. The dream? To one day be able to live off of our writing, entertain the masses, and eventually buy Thugz Mansion from the estate of TuPac Shakur. BIO - As the creative forces behind The A4 Effort writing team, Jackie Heltz and Em Turner hail from the syrupy state of Vermont. They began as childhood nemeses but through the power of boredom and proximity, the two became reluctant, though steadfast, friends. Lickety-split, the duo put their heads together and their pens to paper and began producing masterworks of the written word, in a futile attempt to hustle profit from their all-too-trusting neighbors.
And fifteen years later not a damn thing has changed.
The pursuit of making it as writers has dragged the two from the quaint town of Williston, Vermont to the mountains of Spain, the seedy underbelly of Morocco, jolly-ass England, the East Side of Berlin, finally to be discarded in the forgotten borough of Queens— where they write and starve today.
